     This and the other other websites have been somewhat stagnant recently and I apologize for that. It's been some busy times with college, a betrayal by a former pencil-shavings.net team member and lots of other stuff.

     Did I mention college? I had my last final today! Yay! and expect that 3 of my 4 classes will result in As. (Cross your fingers). What about the 4th you ask... well, lets not talk about math... grrr, math. History of the World, (well, not really, just India and Viet Nam, but when taught right, all history is "of the world", and this class was taught right), English (I'll talk about English some other time, as it deserves more attention than I want to give to it tonight ... I loved the class, but I question the colleges methods), and my favorite, the excellently instructed TV Production 1 all rocked!

     (I'm already beginning to ramble, but will cut that short as I want to get to posting some stuff before bed. Expect a blog from me soon where I will ramble about the problems with college, the country, the economy, retail establishments, the 5 year old mentality of 29 year olds, and other "dog tables"... for now...) ...

     TV Production 1 had 3 main projects; a multi camera live news program (of which I was an Anchor), a video self portrait in 90 seconds or less, and a music video. I was fortunate to have the help of 2 family members in preparing my music video. Three generations working on the project worked nicely for us. Very nice when your children help you work on your dreams instead of trying to stunt them, but again, I digress... a short intro;

     I'm posting 2 versions of 2 versions of my music video. Version 1.1 is my submitted project in 720*480 resolution and features the music of Cat Stevens. (Version 1.2 is the same project reduced to 352*240 resolution for those that want quicker load times). Version 2.1 features voices of my daughter and myself, and music played by my Father... a true family project if ever there was one. It was intended to be my submitted project, but time constraints for editing, (it isn't quite synched up right), and dissatisfaction with our voices made me feel it was best to go with version 1.1. Though ver. 1 was the official submission, both versions were played for my class and instructor, and I think they like the second better. (Version 2.2 is the low-res version of 2.1). So...
